LACCD Programmer - Analyst III (Network/Systems)

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college with a degree in computer science or related field. Additional four years qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, positive attitude and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent collaborative and team skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Current Windows Servers and Internet protocols: DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP,
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory Services, Entra ID, Office 365, and document SharePoint management system
• Experience with VPN Appliances and Cisco Meraki Appliances
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Antivirus, CrowdStrike, Zoom Administration, Microsoft Teams, and network security including VPNs, ACLs, IPSEC, SSL
• Experience with Web site, intranet, and SharePoint support, and PowerShell scripting and automation. Able to develop scripted solutions to automate and/or simplify manual administrative processes and procedures.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors, & cloud architecture
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and privacy principles, Rubrik Backup and Recovery, and Nessus and Splunk

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing IT related support for a large construction bond program
• Industry certifications such as Comp TIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP Enterprise, In compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, Simplex Construction Management, Inc. will only hire individuals lawfully authorized to work in the United States. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
