Job description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to help drive automation, scalability, security, and efficiency across its software development lifecycle. This individual will work closely with development teams, architects, and infrastructure stakeholders to establish and manage CI/CD pipelines, support containerized environments, implement security best practices, and optimize cloud-based deployment processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, source control management, and modern DevOps methodologies, while also serving as a collaborative partner to software engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle., * Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps

  • Establish automated build, deployment, testing, and release processes across multiple environments.
  • Manage and administer source code repositories, branching strategies, version control standards, and release management practices.
  • Implement and maintain security integrations throughout the DevOps lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance controls, and policy enforcement.
  • Support containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
  • Partner with software development teams to understand application architectures, deployment requirements, and development workflows.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
  • Improve software delivery speed, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency through automation.
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to support repeatable deployments and environment consistency.
  • Monitor application performance and system health while proactively addressing issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise application delivery.
  • Document deployment processes, operational procedures, and platform standards.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of DevOps Engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Extensive experience establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong experience with source control systems and repository management (Git, Azure Repos, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).
  • Experience deploying and supporting containerized environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster administration and support.
  • Experience implementing security controls and integrations within CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Experience collaborating directly with software development teams to define and improve deployment processes.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Salesforce DevOps experience
  • Experience with Copado
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
