This is an excellent opportunity for a security detail oriented who enjoys solving complex enterprise challenges, developing secure-by-design solutions, and partnering with engineering and business teams to strengthen an organization’s overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise security architecture standards across cloud, network, hybrid, and application environments. Develop scalable security architectures and layered security controls. Partner with infrastructure, cloud, engineering, and security teams to ensure security is embedded into new systems and technology initiatives. Develop reference architectures, reusable security patterns, and technical standards. Conduct security architecture and design reviews and identify appropriate risk mitigations. Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security control mapping using frameworks such as NIST and CIS. Provide technical guidance on cloud security, network security, identity, and secure technology adoption. Promote DevSecOps, Git/GitOps, automation, policy-as-code, peer review, and controlled change management. Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements. Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex security architecture challenges. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to security and engineering teams. Requirements Required Qualifications 5-7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or security architecture. 3+ years of experience architecting or securing enterprise technology environments. Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale network and cloud security solutions. Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and layered security controls. Experience with cloud security, network security, identity and access management, and secure architecture patterns. Working knowledge of DevSecOps and GitOps principles. Experience with Git and collaborative source-control workflows. Knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, Zero Trust Architecture, or similar security frameworks. Strong threat modeling, risk assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. .
