IT Support Technician

The Part-Time IT Technician provides entry-level technical support to employees across the company, working under the direction of the Full-Time IT Technician and reporting to the Director of Technology. This role is responsible for onboarding and offboarding user accounts and devices, maintaining accurate technology asset records, and providing Level 1 help desk support. The ideal candidate will be one that actively helps improve processes and standards across the board.

Starting Compensation: $18/hr

Hours: Roughly 10-20 hours per week. Possibility for more during larger projects or as schedule allows. There is some level of flexibility for exact times, but shifts will generally fall somewhere in the range of 7am to 4pm., * Day-to-day level 1 support (printers, passwords, general troubleshooting). Devices range from iPhones and iPads to higher end Windows workstations

• Co-managing users in a Microsoft 365 and Windows environment
• Device and user onboarding/offboarding, along with related recordkeeping
• Escalate issues to the full-time IT Technician
• Additional projects and tasks as needed

• Basic hands-on experience with computer hardware, software, or general technical troubleshooting (personal, coursework, or professional)
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and general office technology
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, follow and improve processes, and know when to escalate

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (up to approximately 25-40 lbs.), such as computers, monitors, and printers
• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout office environments for extended period
