Job description

The IT Support Technician provides first-line technical support to Wilmot employees, focusing on resolving help desk tickets, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring system reliability. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role., * Provide front-line onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, and mobile devices.

  • Facilitate and support employee onboarding/offboarding, including hardware setup and account provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet connectivity, email, and business applications.
  • Maintain asset inventory and coordinate moves, additions, and changes for hardware and software.
  • Support audio/visual systems for meetings and events. Provide other administrative assistance to support Customer Service, Project Management, and Sales Departments.
  • Maintain Compliance in accordance with all policies and procedures, and Wilmot’s Core Values
  • Additional duties as required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of one-year related experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • Experience with basic networking, Windows support, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
  • Have a solid work ethic that includes doing the right thing, being reliable, trustworthy and honest.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move about the office, operations center, and modular unit environments to install, maintain, or troubleshoot IT equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching may be required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment or packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional use of ladders or crawling under desks may be necessary to access hardware and cabling.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
