Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of a hybrid and multi-cloud network environment. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures across AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and private cloud (FedRAMP environments) while leveraging Cisco SD-WAN as the strategic connectivity platform. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting architectural strategies, explaining the business value of technical decisions, and influencing both technical teams and executive leadership., Network Architecture & Cloud Connectivity

• Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, OCI, and private cloud environments.
• Architect virtual networking, segmentation, routing, and security controls within FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments.
• Lead Cisco SD-WAN architecture and deployment across data centers, branch offices, and cloud platforms.
• Design and optimize cloud and private connectivity including:
• Backbone routing
• Private circuits
• VPN connectivity
• SD-WAN cloud on-ramps
• Develop scalable, highly available network architectures for hybrid and cloud environments.
• Drive multi-cloud governance, lifecycle management, and CMMC compliance initiatives.

Data Center & Enterprise Networking

• Architect, deploy, and maintain Cisco ACI environments, including:
• Tenant design
• Contracts
• Service graphs
• Multi-Pod and Multi-Site topologies
• Design Layer 2 extension technologies between data centers and cloud platforms.
• Modernize enterprise data center architectures using:
• Spine-leaf networking
• Intent-based networking
• High-availability design patterns
• Define enterprise segmentation strategies across Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, firewalls, and cloud security groups.

Routing, Load Balancing & Performance

• Design routing architectures utilizing:
• BGP
• OSPF
• EVPN
• Engineer WAN optimization, QoS, traffic engineering, and application performance strategies.
• Design and support load balancing solutions using:
• A10
• VMware AVI / NSX Advanced Load Balancer
• Cloud-native load balancers
• Improve network observability through:
• SolarWinds
• Multi-cloud telemetry
• Flow logs
• SD-WAN analytics

Security & Automation

• Enhance network security through:
• Cloud-native security controls
• Private endpoints
• Identity-aware access
• Micro-segmentation
• Lead Zero Trust network architecture initiatives.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar automation tools.
• Create and maintain enterprise network standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security teams to support modernization initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex hybrid and multi-cloud networking issues.
• Present architectural strategies and recommendations to technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts while articulating business value and defending architectural decisions.

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• Extensive experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong understanding of:
• Multi-cloud routing
• Backbone connectivity
• Cloud peering
• Transit architectures
• Experience implementing hybrid connectivity using private circuits, VPNs, hyperscaler backbones, and Cisco SD-WAN.
• Expertise with Cisco SD-WAN including:
• vManage
• vBond
• vSmart
• Policy and template design
• Strong knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience with cloud-native firewalls, encryption, segmentation, and identity-aware access.
• Experience using SolarWinds or comparable network monitoring platforms.
• Proven ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant network architectures.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
