ERP & Applications Developer

The ERP & Applications Developer will design, develop, customize, integrate, and support the applications that power our day-to-day operations.

This is a hands-on development role for someone who enjoys solving real business problems through technology. You will work with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and turn those needs into reliable applications, integrations, customizations, and process improvements.

Our ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Java or C#, Angular, and SQL. Experience working with Acumatica ERP, particularly customization development and the Field Service module, is highly valued but not required.

You don’t need to know every system we use on day one. We are looking for a strong developer who can learn the business, understand how our systems interact, and take ownership of solutions from development through implementation and ongoing support.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain internal business applications
• Develop front-end applications and user interfaces using Angular
• Develop back-end application functionality using Java and/or C#
• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, databases, and data integrations
• Develop and maintain integrations between Acumatica and other internal or third-party systems
• Customize and enhance Acumatica functionality to meet changing business requirements
• Support applications used across KBI and Shamrock Group
• Partner with employees and business leaders to identify system needs and opportunities for improvement
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and user-access issues
• Participate in application testing, quality assurance, implementation, and post-launch support
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflows
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, configurations, and processes
• Assist with application security, permissions, and user-access management
• Support mobile applications and mobile device management initiatives as needed
• Assist with Azure, AWS, Active Directory, and related technology environments based on experience
• Help evaluate new technologies and applications as the organizations continue to grow, A successful ERP & Applications Developer will become someone our teams can rely on to understand both the technology and the business behind it.

You will be comfortable digging into a problem, asking the right questions, developing a solution, and following it through implementation. You’ll look beyond simply fixing issues and identify ways our technology can make employees more productive, improve visibility, eliminate manual processes, and better connect our different areas of the business.

Because this role supports both KBI and Shamrock Group, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects rather than being limited to one application or department.

• 2+ years of professional Java or C# development experience
• 2+ years of professional Angular development experience
• 2+ years of experience working with relational database management systems and SQL
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting business applications
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and nontechnical employees
