Job description

Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java-based web applications.
Enhance and modernize existing applications using current technologies and development standards.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and quality assurance teams to deliver software solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices.
Contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable, and maintainable software applications.

Requirements

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in application development, software engineering, systems testing, or a related technical discipline.
Hands-on experience developing applications using Java.
Experience working with JDK 21.
Proficiency with JSON and XML.
Experience developing and supporting enterprise web applications.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Java Developer III:

Experience with MongoDB.
Knowledge of the Quarkus framework.
Experience developing or deploying containerized applications.
Familiarity with application modernization or legacy system migration projects.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
