IT Asset Support Clerk

The IT Asset Support Clerk provides support to the IT department by assisting with IT equipment inventory, asset tracking, and hardware logistics in a large enterprise environment supporting approximately 1,300 users. This entry-level role helps ensure laptops, monitors, printers, and other devices are properly tracked, organized, and available for IT technicians., * Maintain and track IT equipment inventory (laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals)

• Update and manage asset assignments in ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Pull and distribute equipment for IT technicians and device deployments
• Disassemble workstations and pack equipment for relocation when needed
• Move equipment and boxes to designated staging or storage areas
• Maintain organized storage areas and accurate asset records
• Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage during movement or packing

• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday, * High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in an IT environment (help desk, desktop support, IT support intern, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of IT hardware and devices
• Experience with ticketing or asset management systems preferred (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, Zendesk, etc.)
• Strong organization and attention to detail

• IT asset management or hardware inventory tracking
• Logistics, packing, shipping, or equipment handling
• Exposure to an enterprise IT or service desk environment.
