Senior Systems Engineer

Aderas is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as key personnel supporting the client’s enterprise business systems, including the Defense Case Activity Tracking System, Enterprise, and DefenseReady.

• 10 years of experience in IT field
• 5 years of experience demonstrating technical and process proficiency across Microsoft platforms (on-premises and cloud).
• 5 years of experience managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure demonstrating cost reductions through cloud optimization, improved system uptime and performance via proactive monitoring and cloud migration of applications.
• 3 years of experience managing hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services.
• 3 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure supporting 1,000+ users across multiple geographic locations.
• 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Azure.
• 2 years of experience with cloud migration projects to include virtual machine migration from on-premises to Azure, and technical expertise in Azure cloud services.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a preference in computer science, information systems, or information technology
• Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or information technology-related field (Preferred)

Certification(s):

• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II

Preferred Certs:

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) (Expert or Managing Professional)
• Cloud Platform certified in VMWare, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DEV/OPS Expert, or M365 Certified: Administrator Expert
