Job description

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Systems Engineer on behalf of our client in [Location]. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with expertise in cloud technologies, systems administration, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hybrid cloud environments, implementing automation solutions, enhancing security and reliability, and supporting modern enterprise infrastructure initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments, including compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Terraform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as Splunk and Azure Monitor.
  • Utilize AIOps methodologies to proactively identify issues, predict failures, and automate operational responses.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Enforce security best practices, access controls, identity management, and compliance standards.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and enterprise identity services.
  • Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Manage VMware vSphere and Windows Server environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support DevOps and DevSecOps initiatives.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Support infrastructure optimization initiatives through intelligent automation and emerging AI-driven technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related enterprise IT role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience managing:

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Azure API Management
  • Azure Front Door
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Application Proxy Gateway
  • Data Gateway
  • Experience with VMware vSphere administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Power Platform, and MECM/SCCM.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory and modern identity and access management.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including hybrid cloud connectivity, load balancing, and security controls.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and AIOps platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Administrator Associate Certification.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Certification.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certification.
  • Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts, intelligent agents, and AI-driven infrastructure operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and certifications.
