Senior Solutions Architect (HYBRID TO WORCESTER, MA)

Experteer Overview As Senior Solution Architect, you will lead enterprise-scale digital transformation in a P&C insurance context. You bridge business strategy and technology, delivering cloud-native, AI-enabled solutions across policy administration, underwriting, claims, and distribution. You will shape end-to-end architectures, align roadmaps with enterprise standards, and guide cross-functional teams through governance and delivery. This role focuses on modernizing legacy systems and integrating third-party platforms to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. You will work closely with business and engineering leaders to drive impactful, scalable outcomes in a fast-paced, hybrid environment Compensation / Benefits * Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale P&C platforms and digital initiatives * Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams * Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards and objectives * Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and governance processes; provide lifecycle technology leadership * Design customer-facing, omnichannel experiences and ensure high availability, security, performance, and scalability * Modernize legacy applications and integrate third-party insurance platforms * Lead adoption of cloud-native architectures on Azure and define containerization/deployment strategies with Kubernetes * Drive API-led integration, microservices, event-driven architectures, and GenAI use cases (e.g., intelligent customer service, claims automation) * Oversee GenAI implementations (LLM, RAG, AI assistants, document processing) and integration strategies * Mentor and influence senior technical teams and stakeholders across the organization Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field * 10+ years IT experience with 3+ years in Solution Architecture * P&C insurance industry experience * Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship * Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives * Experience with distributed Agile teams * Hands-on Java-based full stack development: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular/JS frameworks * Mainframe experience a plus * Experience with Pega workflow/BPM platforms * Microsoft Azure Cloud, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD DevOps * APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, Kafka or similar messaging * Mobile apps (iOS/Android) and customer/self-service portals * Experience with GenAI: LLM, RAG, AI chatbots, document processing * P&C platforms experience (Guidewire/Duck Creek/Majesco or similar) and DDD * Azure/cloud architecture certifications and data/analytics capabilities * Strong security, compliance, and regulatory understanding * Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication, mentorship Key requirements *
