Test Engineer

We are seeking an Engine Development & Test Engineer with experience in diesel engine development, testing, and dynamometer operations. This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of experience, but strong recent graduates with relevant internship or hands-on testing experience will also be considered., * Manage and support performance and emissions dynamometer testing.

• Develop detailed engine test plans and schedules.
• Prepare engines for testing, including assembly and instrumentation.
• Create test work orders and coordinate requirements with test cell operators.
• Analyze test data, present results, and lead technical discussions.
• Calibrate engine software features and support development of new features.
• Provide technical support to teams including calibration, applications, and field performance.
• Support engine and aftertreatment hardware development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of engine engineering experience preferred.
• At least 6 months of engine or component development testing experience.
• Basic understanding of diesel engine performance and emissions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engine development, controls, or component/subsystem development.
• Experience with engine test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of diesel emissions control technologies and regulations.
• Experience testing heavy-duty diesel engines for performance and emissions.
• Familiarity with controller development tools.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), modeling, or optimization.
• Experience with GT-Power, NI DIAdem, MATLAB, Simulink, MBC, or CAGE.
