Job description
- Design Databricks-based data architectures and models that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Databricks with application software and data pipelines.
- Monitor the health of Databricks environments and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Troubleshoot Databricks issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Stay current with Databricks best practices, trends, and technologies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience with high-availability and scalability methods and techniques, as well as application development, deployment, and maintenance. The candidate must be proficient in Python and SQL and familiar with relational and NoSQL database architectures and designs., * At least eight years of relevant professional experience in data bricks.
- In-depth knowledge of Databricks architecture/Engineering, features, and functionality.
- Proficiency in Databricks SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database architectures and designs.
- Strong understanding of data-security principles and best practices.
- Experience with Databricks monitoring and performance tuning tools.
- Experience with Databricks monitoring and performance-tuning tools.
- Knowledge of application development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience implementing high-availability and scalable Databricks solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A professional Databricks certification is highly preferred, such as:
Databricks Certified Data Engineer
Databricks Certified Associate Developer
- An existing or previously held Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
