Job description

Be familiar with and understand the overall NexLync data strategy and data models. Provide data-architectural leadership and guidance across all engineering teams. On request, assist the Solutions Architects, Software Developers or Database Developers with the design of data architecture changes based on new features and enhancements. Review, provide feedback for, and approve the data architectural decisions of the onshore and offshore engineering teams prior to implementation for appropriateness and to ensure compliance with overall NexLync data strategy. Working with other Data Architects, design and maintain the high-level architecture of the NexLync platform, including ERD database diagrams, data flow diagrams, or other database diagrams or documentation as may be necessary to specify and communicate the data architecture. Provide technical leadership and development support to Database Developers, as needed. Be familiar with the overarching data strategy and architecture of the NexLync platform, and (primarily through Database Developers) direct the engineering teams to understand and adhere to established strategy, architecture, guidelines, and standards (coding standards, reference architectures, secure coding practices, etc.). Working with the Database Developers(s), other Data Architects, and other stakeholders, participate in the database code review process. As part of the Architect Team: o Participate in the identification and refinement of data requirements for platform features and help define the design of architectural solutions for implementation by the engineering team(s). o Participate in the review of the overall NexLync platform and data architecture to identify performance bottlenecks, scalability constraints, or other issues that are or may have an adverse impact on the NexLync platform. o Write Technology Proposals (as needed) to propose changes to the standard data architectures, practices, or guidelines across all engineering teams. o Participate in the development and evaluation of Technology Proposals. o Participate in the establishment and development of a roadmap articulating the long- term vision and strategy for the NexLync platform, including the introduction of new capabilities, products, features, and lines of business.
