Job description

  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day support for IT systems including servers, business applications, networks, and end-user devices to ensure reliable operations.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets, incidents, and service requests efficiently, escalating higher-complexity issues to senior IT leadership as needed.
  • Perform routine system administration tasks such as maintenance, patching, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting across the IT environment.
  • Support core Microsoft technologies including Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, including basic account and access management.
  • Assist with infrastructure support such as VMware (or similar virtualization), backups/restores, storage management, and endpoint/device configuration.
  • Provide foundational network support for switches, VPNs, firewalls, wireless access, and connectivity-related issues impacting users and systems.
  • Support security and compliance processes by following established policies, assisting with access reviews, vulnerability remediation, audit documentation, and security escalation procedures.

Requirements

  • 4+years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical support in a hands-on environment.
  • Travel to Mexico approximately once a month
  • Working knowledge of core Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD (support-level).
  • Technical foundation in infrastructure operations, including VMware virtualization, networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN), and backup/recovery concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and support end users professionally.
  • Clear communication and process discipline, including following documented procedures, writing/updating documentation, and escalating issues appropriately (regulated/security-focused experience preferred).
