IT Help Desk Technician

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide hands-on technical support for a shipyard client in Norfolk.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot computers, printers, software, email, and connectivity issues.
• Set up employee accounts, workstations, and equipment.
• Manage support tickets and document resolutions.
• Track IT equipment, assignments, and returns.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and basic network issues.
• Escalate advanced technical and cybersecurity concerns.

• At least one year of help desk or desktop-support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and printers.
• Active Directory and ticketing-system experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• CompTIA certifications and shipyard or government-contracting experience are preferred.
