Systems Analyst III

Alethia Software is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III to join our team in Colorado Springs. This senior-level position will support the analysis, integration, sustainment, and improvement of complex mission systems. The ideal candidate combines strong systems thinking with hands-on analytical experience and can work across requirements, architecture, system performance, technical investigations, integration, and operational needs.

What You’ll Do: Analyze complex system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and performance. Support requirements development, refinement, management, and traceability. Investigate complex system deficiencies and support root-cause analysis. Analyze system performance data and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop technical analyses, recommendations, reports, and engineering artifacts. Maintain traceability between requirements, technical decisions, deficiencies, and corrective actions. Support technical baseline and configuration-management activities. Support system integration, deployment, verification, and evaluation. Prepare and review technical and analytical documentation. Support incident and deficiency reporting. Participate in technical planning and risk-management activities. Support system optimization, audits, and continuous process improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent DoD/military training. 7-10 years of relevant experience. Experience with systems analysis, technical planning, and requirements management. Experience supporting complex system integration and sustainment. Experience conducting or supporting engineering investigations and root-cause analysis. Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and engineering artifacts. Understanding of configuration management and technical baseline management. Experience with technical risk management and engineering lifecycle processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal technical communication skills. Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Technical Experience: Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: CAMEO, DOORS, IDSS, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Sparx Enterprise Architect.

Preferred Certifications: CSSLP, GCLD, and GSEC.
