Job description

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll lead the development of the company’s web platform, building polished, high-performance user experiences that complement its AI-powered travel assistant. You’ll design and develop traveler-facing booking experiences, administrative dashboards, and operational tools while working closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to translate complex travel workflows into intuitive interfaces. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning product experiences, thinking beyond implementation, and solving challenging frontend architecture problems while maintaining a strong understanding of the systems powering them.

  • Develop intuitive traveler experiences for booking, managing, modifying, and canceling business travel
  • Create administrative dashboards and operational tools for enterprise customers
  • Build reusable frontend components supporting complex travel workflows, itineraries, approvals, traveler profiles, and booking experiences
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to simplify user experiences and improve product usability
  • Partner with Backend Engineering to design APIs and data models supporting new product capabilities
  • Improve frontend performance, reliability, accessibility, testing, and overall application quality
  • Help define frontend architecture, engineering standards, and best practices across the platform
  • Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the user experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong experience building modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript
  • Experience building polished, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based development, and application state management
  • Experience working with REST APIs and relational data models
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including testing, security, and application architecture
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience working across the full stack with backend technologies such as Python or Django
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, or similar cloud technologies
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS or workflow-driven applications
  • Experience improving application performance, accessibility, observability, and testing
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows
  • Startup experience with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
