Role and Responsibilities Front-End Architecture Design, develop, and maintain a responsive, high-performance front-end for the modernized portal, including AI-assisted customer-facing surfaces. Establish architecture patterns, state management, build tooling, and testing strategy . Design System & Component Library Create and own a standardized, versioned component library aligned with the UX team’s design system. Establish Storybook as the single source of truth and drive adoption across multiple product and engineering teams so components and design tokens are reused consistently . Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with product managers, designers, back-end engineers, and other teams contributing to the AI portal evolution. Define clean front-end contracts and component boundaries across contributors and time zones . UI/UX, Accessibility & Performance Implement best practices in UI/UX, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization. Own front-end performance metrics for shipped surfaces . Modern Web Capabilities Use modern front-end technologies (React, Next.js, TypeScript) to deliver fast, responsive, reliable experiences . API & Microservices Integration Integrate front-end applications with SDKs, public APIs, and back-end microservices. Partner with integration engineers on developer-facing surfaces . • Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization
• Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and microservices
• Experience building customer-facing or developer-facing UIs as products, with clear articulation of design decisions and trade-offs
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining shared design systems or component libraries across multiple teams
