Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Customer Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key technical bridge between our engineering group and Tier-1 automotive clients. You will assist in product demonstrations, triage technical inquiries, help validate embedded solutions, and ensure smooth delivery across customer projects., * Client Support & Issue Triage: Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients and third-party partners; reproduce, analyze, and escalate embedded software/hardware issues.
- Product Demos & Prototyping: Prepare Device Under Test (DUT) hardware, flash builds, and configure demo environments for customer meetings and trade events.
- Testing & Validation Support: Assist senior engineers with Design Validation (DV) and Product Validation (PV) testing using vehicle simulators, bench setups, or test vehicles.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain integration guides, application notes, troubleshooting FAQs, and process documents aligned with automotive standards.
- Internal Knowledge Sharing: Assist in technical knowledge transfers, onboarding materials, and training sessions for internal engineering teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or 5 years’ experience on similar works., * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience or academic project work in embedded systems.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following core technical domains:
- Basic knowledge on Programming & Systems: C / C++, Embedded Systems, or RTOS.
- Automotive Networking: Fundamentals of CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, or Automotive Ethernet.
- Hardware/Mechanical Basics: Basic Circuit Analysis/Design or 3D CAD modeling.
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and a willingness to learn complex automotive protocols.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical details concisely.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):
- Hands-on experience with automotive debugging tools (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
- Basic familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive) architectures or QNX / Embedded Linux.
- Foundational awareness of automotive processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262 functional safety, ISO 21434 cybersecurity)., * Automotive Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
