Job description
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into data, identifying patterns, improving processes, and helping a company scale smarter and faster. While this is primarily a data analytics role, the right person should also be comfortable using modern AI tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and help the business operate more efficiently.
We are looking for someone who wants to put in the sweat equity, take ownership, and make a name for themselves as the company continues to grow.
About the Company
Our company was built by people who came up through the parts department - not consultants who learned the industry from textbooks. We understand the day-to-day challenges dealerships face because we have lived them: managing bin systems, working with DMS vendors, processing warranty returns, dealing with aging inventory, and finding solutions for obsolete parts.
We specialize in OE auto parts solutions for franchised auto dealerships, including obsolete inventory purchasing, parts department optimization, fill-rate improvement, inventory analysis, process improvement, and vendor strategy. We help dealerships turn aging inventory into cash quickly so they can reinvest in parts that actually move., The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in helping the company use data more effectively across sales, catalog, inventory, pricing, advertising, and operations. You will work closely with leadership and the development team to identify opportunities for better reporting, cleaner data, improved workflows, and smarter decision-making.
This person will help build and maintain analytic tools, improve data visibility, and support automation initiatives that reduce manual work and allow the business to scale., * Analyze data across pricing, catalog, inventory, advertising, sales, and operations to identify trends, gaps, and business opportunities.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytic tools that give leadership clear visibility into performance.
- Review existing workflows and manual processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Develop tools and reporting that help the team make better, faster, data-informed decisions.
- Work with developers to support data pipelines, automation projects, and system integrations.
- Use AI tools where appropriate to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce repetitive manual tasks.
- Translate complex data into clear, practical recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Help establish clean, reliable data processes that support continued growth.
- Document workflows, reporting logic, and process improvements so they can be maintained and scaled.
What Success Looks Like
- Leadership has better visibility into all areas of the business.
- Manual processes are identified, improved, and reduced where possible.
- Data is cleaner, faster, and more reliable.
- Reporting and analytics help drive better decisions across the organization.
- The company is able to scale with greater efficiency and fewer manual touchpoints.
- You become a trusted internal resource for data, insights, and process improvement.
