Job description

  • Vaughn Automotive Group is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions for our automotive dealership business.   • Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications for our automotive dealership business
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications, and provide timely resolutions
  • Continuously research and stay updated with advancements in software development technologies and tools
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet business goals
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior software developers
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or JavaScript
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Proficient in database architecture and SQL queries
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
