Job description

Vaughn Automotive Group is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions for our automotive dealership business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, has a strong understanding of software development principles, and is eager to contribute their skills to help drive our business forward.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software applications for our automotive dealership business
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications, and provide timely resolutions
Continuously research and stay updated with advancements in software development technologies and tools
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet business goals
Provide technical guidance and support to junior software developers
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or JavaScript
Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
Proficient in database architecture and SQL queries
Solid understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
