Job description
Paramint LLC is seeking a highly experienced AEM Solutions Lead (Programmer 3) to support a major New York City public sector digital transformation initiative.
This role will lead all Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development efforts supporting a large-scale website redesign and implementation of a modern design system across public-facing digital experiences. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, oversee AEM architecture and development, and ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability across environments., AEM Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
- Ensure scalability, performance, and stability across AEM environments
- Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dispatcher configuration and caching
- Optimize system performance and ensure efficient content delivery
- Monitor application health and implement observability solutions
DevOps & CI/CD
- Support CI/CD pipelines, including Cloud Manager operations, builds, and deployments
- Implement automated testing and deployment strategies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure efficient release cycles
Technical Leadership
- Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Guide AEM development processes aligned with Agile methodologies
Integration & Collaboration
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems (CRM, DAM, analytics tools, APIs)
- Work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure secure, maintainable, and scalable integrations
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with AEM features, Adobe Experience Cloud, and emerging technologies
- Recommend enhancements to improve system performance and capabilities
Requirements
Candidates who do not meet the mandatory qualifications will not be considered.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in AEM development
- Strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Sling Jobs, and workflows
- Relevant AEM certifications (e.g., AEM Sites Architect, Developer, DevOps, or Lead)
- Expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of Dispatcher configuration, caching, and performance tuning
- Experience deploying AEM Cloud Service and on-premise environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar tools)
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Experience leading development teams, mentoring, and conducting code reviews
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaboration tools
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience with Adobe Target
- Experience integrating Adobe Analytics with AEM
- Experience with CDN technologies (e.g., Akamai)
- Experience with translation tools (e.g., Smartling, TransPerfect)
- Experience with search platforms (e.g., Coveo, Solr), Confirmation of ability to work in the required hybrid schedule, * Are you willing to work under a W2 Contract? (This is NOT available for C2C, C2H or 1099, and NO sponsorship)
Benefits & conditions
$55 - $65 an hour - Full-time, Contract
