SAP FICO Consultant for SAP software partner

Full training on our SAP Addon functionality will be given. We are actively building AI-powered solutions and you would have opportunity to make a difference in this critical area.

This is a flexible remote working role but does require a 4-5 hour daily commitment to be flexibly spread across all USA time zones, and very occasionally you may be required to travel to USA customer sites, attend USA company meetings or attend USA conferences.

Responsibilities

Participate in the pre-sales activities that lead to implementation projects for our own SAP solutions.

Devise project plans , design and functional documents working in collaboration with the customer to ensure the customer realizes the benefits.

Use your extensive knowledge and experience of the SAP FICO process to help customers design better processes and help with resolving issues in the system.

Collaborate with internal resources (both technical and non-technical) to deliver implementations effectively

Perform the normal duties of a project manager for small projects such as scheduling, task tracking and status updates.

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and proactive SAP FICO consultant with experience of SAP FICO transformation projects in SAP ECC and preferably S/4 HANA transformations. If you have specific experience of the SAP Financial Close process in areas such as finance reconciliation and manual journal management that would be advantageous. We are a 20+ year specialized SAP software partner implementing our own SAP certified Add-On software into SAP customers with a focus on SAP FICO process automation/transformation.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your SAP FICO knowledge and project experience in a fast-paced, innovative setting. You will manage your own projects work directly with customers to implement our SAP Addon and ensure it is configured to meet their requirements. You will manage implementation projects involving both external and internal activities and resources. Occasionally you will also be required to analyse and manage inbound support issues which may be raised by existing customers., USA citizen based within the USA.

Minimum 10 years of SAP FICO consulting and transformation experience including extensive exposure to the implementation of SAP, including experience in SAP Finance transformations, SAP Financial close processes (specifically SAP Finance reconciliation and manual journal postings). Hands-on as well as team leadership roles in these areas is preferred. All of the above in both SAP ECC and S/4 HANA is preferred.

Strong real-world project management skills for smaller non-strategic projects. There is no need for formal project management certifications (experience is more important than certifications).

Strong planning, organizational and presentation/communication skills is required including the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders such as customers, end users, senior leadership /board members, developers and SAP Basis teams.

Excellent problem solving skills and willingness to “get your hands dirty” in SAP environments when needed.
