Job description
The Engineer I is an entry-level professional responsible for supporting the design, development, analysis, testing, integration, and sustainment of engineering projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, this position applies engineering principles to solve technical problems while developing proficiency within their assigned discipline.
Engineers may support one or more engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, aerospace, software, systems, manufacturing, or related technical fields., * Assist in the design, analysis, development, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Support prototype development, integration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
- Collect, analyze, and document technical data.
- Support verification and validation activities.
- Ensure work complies with customer requirements, engineering standards, quality requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Maintain configuration control and documentation throughout project execution.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge within assigned engineering discipline.

- Ability to work both independently and within a team., Qualifications include:
- Bachelorâs degree in engineering discipline or closely related STEM field.
- U.S. citizenship for positions supporting government customers.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. security clearance, when required.
- Experience with government contracting, aerospace, defense, or advanced technology programs is a plus.
