Job description
- Drive Partner Technical Success: Help schools fully integrate with GiveCampus and adopt our most advanced capabilities, so they hit the fundraising outcomes that matter to them - and the goals that matter to us.
- Be the Technical Voice of the Partner: Build deep relationships with advancement teams and serve as their trusted technical advisor - someone who understands their operations, anticipates their needs, and speaks fluently to both the gift officer and the IT director.
- Become a Systems Authority: Develop expert-level knowledge of the major CRMs in the advancement space (Blackbaud Raiserâs Edge NXT, Salesforce/Affinaquest, Slate Advancement, Anthology, Ellucian Advance, and others) and the broader ecosystem of tools schools rely on - then turn that knowledge into the guidance and best practices that shape how GiveCampus integrates with all of them.
- Build What Partners Need: Take on a range of technical projects depending on where Partners need the most help - building integration tools that make data flow between systems effortless, designing custom applications on top of the GiveCampus platform, or prototyping new capabilities that deepen Partner engagement.
- Partner Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with our Advancement Services and Platform Product & Engineering teams to surface Partner feedback, advocate for the right fixes, and inject real-world insight into roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years working in or around advancement, fundraising operations, or technical Partner-facing roles at a SaaS, ed-tech, or nonprofit-serving company.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of how advancement teams operate - their workflows, their pain points, and the systems they live inside every day.
- Strong technical foundation - comfort with APIs, data modeling, integration patterns, and the kind of work that sits between Product and the customer.
- Track record of building things - tools, internal applications, integrations, frameworks - that other people actually use and rely on.
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into accessible solutions, and to bring fundraising leaders and engineering teams along together.
- Strong desire to be a âbuilderâ - contributing to shaping a best-in-class Partner Operations function, and willing to take on whatever is needed as the role evolves.
- Dedication to what weâre building at GiveCampus, and to helping advance the quality, the affordability, and the accessibility of education.
Bonus points if you are/have:
- Hands-on experience with one or more major advancement CRMs (Raiserâs Edge NXT, Salesforce/Affinaquest, Slate, Anthology, Ellucian Advance, etc.).
- Experience working inside or alongside an advancement services or operations team at a college, university, or independent school.
- Software development experience - comfort writing scripts, prototyping internal tools, or shipping production code in Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar.
- Startup experience, with the proven ability to âfind a wayâ and get things done without being overly reliant on process and structure around you.
- Strong knowledge of roles and responsibilities in fundraising and development, especially at educational institutions, with prior fundraising experience ideal.
- Volunteer experience helping a school raise money or engage its alumni (e.g., as a âclass agent,â âclass chair/ambassador,â or âreunion committee memberâ).

About the company
GiveCampus is the worldâs leading fundraising platform for non-profit educational institutions. Trusted by millions of donors and 1,300+ colleges, universities, and K-12 schools, our mission is to help advance the quality, the affordability, and the accessibility of education. At our current pace, we will facilitate $100 billion in charitable giving over the next decade-enough money to send more than 1 million students to college, tuition-free.
GiveCampus is backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, but weâre also practitioners of Sustainable Growth: weâve made the Inc. 5000 list of Americaâs fastest-growing private companies each of the last five years and weâve been profitable nine of the last 10. In 2025, we celebrated a $140 million growth investment that included a major liquidity event for GiveCampus employees-the second in less than three years.
Our purpose-driven team of 130+ is located in 30+ states across the US: team members work from anywhere they choose. We have a beautiful 12,000sf office in Washington, DC that is available for people to use whenever they want, and we regularly organize team meet-ups, visit partner institutions, and host retreats in various locations.
While we operate at meaningful scale, weâre still small relative to the commercial and social good opportunities in front of us. Every GiveCampus employee plays a meaningful role in shaping what comes next, and weâre growing the team in support of our ambitious plans-including a $100 million investment in AI product development. If you believe in the transformative power of education and want to join a fast-growing, mission-driven company, youâll fit right in.
