Clinical Applications Specialist

Provides general support to the sales staff, new product introduction and training to customers and employees. Frequent travel - must be located near a major airport., Technical

• Provides applications training on Dornier MedTech equipment to physicians, radiologic technologists, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Assists with writing and editing of training documents.
• Provides clinical expertise during demos, customer site-visits and trade shows.
• Periodic Beta testing and product development projects as assigned.
• Must be able to work independently and under minimal supervision.

Administrative

• Provide customer feedback regarding equipment performance and safety issues.
• Generate reports to document efficacy of treatments and customer support activities.
• Responsible for keeping travel expenses and associated reporting within established Dornier guidelines.

Travel

• Frequent domestic and occasional international travel required.

Developmental

• Provide training to new Clinical Application Specialists and mentor in technical and job specific skills for a period of time as determined by management.

• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in science/medical technology and three to five years lithotripsy experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have valid passport or ability to obtain passport.
• Must be a member in good standing with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold current license as a Radiologic Technician.

Experience

• Strong medical imaging background required.
• Ultrasound background, expert knowledge of the urology field, and extensive knowledge of operating room procedures are preferred.
