Role Description This is a contract remote role combines responsibilities of a Salesforce Developer and Salesforce Architect, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include developing custom applications and components, configuring and optimizing Salesforce environments, and implementing integrations with other systems. The role involves working closely with business partners to gather requirements, translating them into technical designs, and ensuring solutions follow best practices and platform limits. The Salesforce Developer/Architect will support ongoing enhancements, troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and contribute to governance standards, documentation, and release management.

This is not a standard Salesforce Developer role. Combination of Salesforce Architect and Lead Salesforce Developer role., * Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.

  • Define Salesforce solution architecture, data models, security frameworks, integration patterns, and platform governance to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Serve as the technical lead by mentoring developers, conducting architecture and code reviews, and establishing Salesforce development best practices.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee Salesforce administration, including user management, security, automation, standard/custom objects, and platform configuration.
  • Lead DevOps and release management initiatives using Git, CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, governance, and regulatory standards while optimizing platform performance, data quality, and system health.
  • Drive Agile delivery by participating in solution design, sprint planning, technical estimation, documentation, and continuous platform innovation through Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly preferred.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II and Salesforce Administrator certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, or similar deployment tools.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, HRIS, marketing automation, and enterprise cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, identity management, data governance, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams and architecting enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $60.00 per hour
