Salesforce Technical Architect

UST is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities, enterprise integrations, security architecture, data management, and technical governance.

The opportunity:

• Salesforce Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Provide overall technical direction for Salesforce implementations across multiple business domains and delivery teams.

• Define and own the end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture, including application architecture, integration design, security model, data architecture, and platform standards.

• Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions leveraging Lightning Experience, LWC, Apex, OmniStudio, Flows, and Salesforce Industry Cloud capabilities.

• Establish technical governance, architecture review processes, development standards, coding best practices, and deployment strategies.

• Lead architecture decisions for greenfield Salesforce implementations, Salesforce organization setup, and enterprise-wide Salesforce transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Technology Leadership to ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture standards.

• Define and communicate the overall Salesforce technology vision and architecture roadmap. Establish platform governance, reusable frameworks, development standards, and architectural best practices.

• Ensure security, compliance, scalability, maintainability, and performance of enterprise Salesforce solutions.

• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance during design, development, deployment, and support phases.

• Drive innovation by evaluating new Salesforce capabilities and emerging technologies.

• Mentor technical teams and build architecture maturity across the Salesforce competency.

• Act as the final technical escalation point for complex design and implementation challenges.

• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure technology investments align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.

• Healthcare Payer Operations Claims Processing Membership & Enrollment Provider Management Care Management Customer Service Operations Digital Member Experience Regulatory and Compliance Programs

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6+ years in Salesforce architecture, design, and development.

• Proven experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementations and enterprise digital transformation programs.

• Hands-on experience establishing new Salesforce organizations and defining enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture standards.

• Strong experience delivering Salesforce solutions involving Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, and Lightning Platform.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and leading geographically distributed teams. Healthcare Payer domain experience is highly preferred.

$109,000-$164,000 life insurance, vision insurance, flexible benefit account, paid holidays, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, California, Woodland Hills Aug 07, 2026 Role description, Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below., Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching.
