GIS Specialist II

• Maintain databases filled with new and historical data including crop usage, acreage, varieties, yields, plantings, etc.
• Manage web maps, field trial maps, project maps, and annual reporting
• Perform spatial analysis with a variety of data sources related to farming operations, crop production, water use, and land use
• Ensure data integrity throughout all GIS resources including data collection, data storage and data usage
• Coordinate with farming divisions and other departments to determine user needs
• Integrate data and ensure integrity of all related data
• Perform and manage field data information gathering and audits
