Job description
- Respond to and resolve business queries for the ERFT space and manage the user query mailbox with timely, appropriate updates.
- Communicate application health and status to line of business and management, including incident notifications and escalations.
- Monitor, triage, and resolve feed, batch, alert, and monitoring events using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS.
- Partner with Technology Infrastructure and Development teams to support releases, software and hardware upgrades, and server maintenance.
- Identify and implement improvements in monitoring, application stability, and root cause determination speed, including automation opportunities.
- Leverage AI tools to optimize day-to-day support workflows and insights.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge articles. Track and report metrics and produce status reports via ITSM, JIRA, and related frameworks.
- Coordinate resolutions with development teams and organize/run meetings for issue resolution independently.
- Perform Business Continuity testing and complete related documentation.
Requirements
We are seeking a Production / Technical Support III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production support across Linux/Unix, SQL databases, monitoring and scheduling tools, and incident/problem management and a proven ability to stabilize critical applications, accelerate root cause analysis, and drive process and automation improvements., * 5+ years of production support experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle or Teradata.
- Solid UNIX/Linux administration and scripting fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and ITIL processes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools: ITRS, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
- Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys and Bob.
- Python scripting capability for automation and tooling.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to operate under pressure across multi-regional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Financial services domain knowledge, including Treasury and Liquidity.
- Experience with Hadoop, Grid, Cloud, Containers, and Quartz environments.
- Experience with Tableau for reporting and visualization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and Windows OS operations exposure.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy or MyITSM for Incident and Problem Management.
- Proficiency with AI tools to enhance monitoring, analysis, and automation.
