Experteer Overview In this Technology Consultant 2 role, you contribute to delivering digital transformation for financial institutions by shaping requirements, designing solutions, and implementing features. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-quality software and smooth transitions to new applications. You’ll handle end-to-end SDLC activities, from eliciting requirements to deployment and maintenance, while driving reliability and knowledge sharing. This is a hands-on, design- and code-focused position that leverages modern Java tech and microservices to impact banking, wealth management, and insurance projects. Compensation / Benefits * Document assigned parts of business requirements to guide development * Facilitate design discussions and capture decisions for the technical team * Attend coding and integrate new features into existing apps focusing on stability * Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories * Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes * Develop user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks * Resolve production issues and propose preventive reliability improvements * Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities Tasks * Core Java, J2EE, Springboot, Spring MVC, Rest API, Angular or React * Experience in Microservices * Oracle database * SDLC * Banking domain and global delivery model * Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education * Relocation and/or travel to work/project location may be required * Authorized to work in the United States Key requirements * Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance * Long-term/Short-term Disability * Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts * Insurance (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Legal) * 401(k) plan and contributions * Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off
