Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. This role is suitable for entry level candidates or candidates with internships, academic projects, or up to 2 years of relevant experience., * Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.

Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
Perform data quality checks and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking.
Support business teams with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
Collaborate with analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Document data sources, reporting processes, and analytical findings.
Present insights and findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of SQL.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of data cleaning and data validation concepts.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Internship experience, academic projects, certifications, or relevant coursework in Data Analytics is preferred., * Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
