Job description

  • Build and maintain web applications across frontend and backend systems.
  • Develop and improve APIs, backend services, and database architecture.
  • Build new features and improve existing products based on business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Work closely with leadership and internal teams to understand problems and develop practical technology solutions.
  • Take ownership of projects from planning and development through deployment and ongoing improvements.
  • Help improve internal tools and workflows used by teams across the company.
  • Participate in technical decisions around architecture, development practices, and new technologies.
  • Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve the overall user experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Full-stack development experience.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core and C#/.NET or similar backend technologies.
  • Experience with React and TypeScript or similar frontend technologies.
  • Strong SQL/database experience.
  • Familiarity with AWS or another cloud platform.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • A willingness to learn and work across different areas of the technology stack.

You’ll Stand Out If You Have

  • Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECR, or ECS.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience improving application performance or scalability.
  • Experience with authentication platforms such as MSAL, Auth0, or OIDC.
  • Experience working at a startup or rapidly growing company.
  • Experience building internal business tools or proprietary software.
  • A strong product mindset and interest in improving how users interact with technology.
