Job description
- Build and maintain web applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Develop and improve APIs, backend services, and database architecture.
- Build new features and improve existing products based on business needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with leadership and internal teams to understand problems and develop practical technology solutions.
- Take ownership of projects from planning and development through deployment and ongoing improvements.
- Help improve internal tools and workflows used by teams across the company.
- Participate in technical decisions around architecture, development practices, and new technologies.
- Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve the overall user experience.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Full-stack development experience.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and C#/.NET or similar backend technologies.
- Experience with React and TypeScript or similar frontend technologies.
- Strong SQL/database experience.
- Familiarity with AWS or another cloud platform.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- A willingness to learn and work across different areas of the technology stack.
You’ll Stand Out If You Have
- Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECR, or ECS.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience improving application performance or scalability.
- Experience with authentication platforms such as MSAL, Auth0, or OIDC.
- Experience working at a startup or rapidly growing company.
- Experience building internal business tools or proprietary software.
- A strong product mindset and interest in improving how users interact with technology.
