Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering high-quality software, ideally across the full development stack. Strong Microsoft SQL Server/SQL development experience is required, including complex queries, stored procedures, database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java. Experience with Java and Spring Boot. Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker and containerized applications. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of system design, architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance testing. Experience building backend services and distributed systems. Experience with AWS and cloud technologies. Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL in addition to MS SQL. Understanding of cache-based, low-latency system design. Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
