Senior Software Engineer - Oracle PL/SQL

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and data pipelines
• Own features end-to-end - from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Write clean, performant, testable, and maintainable PL/SQL code
• Tune queries and database logic for performance and scalability
• Perform unit and integration testing and participate in code reviews
• Work within Jenkins-based CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and help raise the technical bar on the team

ZipStaff is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer with deep, proven Oracle PL/SQL expertise who can be fully productive from day one.

This is not a training role. We need an engineer who already writes high-quality PL/SQL at a senior level and can immediately contribute to design, development, performance tuning, and production support of data structures, business logic, and data pipelines., * Strong, current, hands-on Oracle PL/SQL expertise (this is the core of the role)

• Ability to be fully productive on day one with advanced PL/SQL development and debugging
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant PL/SQL development
• Proven experience with query development, performance tuning, stored procedures, and packages
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins strongly preferred)
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, version control)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL Server or MySQL in addition to Oracle
• Exposure to Spring Boot, .NET, or similar frameworks
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Background in healthcare, insurance, or data-intensive platforms
