Job description

As a key partner to HR, IT, and business stakeholders, you will play an integral role in configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Workday solutions that enable a seamless teammate experience while ensuring data integrity, security, compliance, and operational excellence. About This Opportunity The Workday HRIS/Security Analyst independently supports and leads the configuration, maintenance, security administration, reporting, and optimization of Workday solutions across the organization. This role serves as a trusted technical partner to HR, IT, and business leaders, delivering scalable system solutions that improve workforce operations and the teammate experience. The ideal candidate brings strong Workday Security expertise, advanced reporting capabilities, and a passion for leveraging technology to streamline processes, strengthen governance, and support data-driven decision-making. What You’ll Do Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday modules to support evolving business needs and workforce operations. Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to translate requirements into scalable system solutions aligned with governance standards and best practices. Lead moderately complex projects and system initiatives with minimal supervision. Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security frameworks, eligibility rules, notifications, and reporting solutions. Develop, test, and deploy Workday security roles, permissions, and reports to support business and compliance requirements. Manage user access and security provisioning, ensuring appropriate access to sensitive workforce data. Conduct regular security audits and access reviews to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities. Support Workday releases, testing efforts, upgrades, and implementation of new functionality. Build and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business insights and decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline and automate processes, improving efficiency and teammate experience. Maintain data integrity through ongoing audits, validation activities, and troubleshooting efforts. Evaluate and support integrations, EIBs, and system enhancements while considering downstream impacts. Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on Workday functionality, security standards, and best practices. Stay current on Workday innovations, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve HR service delivery. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 2-4 years of Workday or HRIS experience. Experience configuring Workday modules, including: Business Process Framework Security Eligibility Rules Notifications Workday Security experience required. Advanced Workday reporting experience, including calculated fields, dashboards, and data analysis. Knowledge of integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and data auditing processes. Understanding of release management, change control, testing methodologies, and governance practices. Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including hires, job changes, compensation, leaves, and separations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Workday Pro Certification or progress toward certification. Advanced Workday Reporting expertise, including calculated fields, dashboards, and analytics. Experience supporting Workday Compensation or Advanced Compensation functionality, including compensation eligibility rules, compensation business processes, merit reviews, bonus planning, compensation reporting, or related total rewards initiatives. Experience with Agile project methodologies. Experience supporting large, complex HRIS or Workday environments. Knowledge of emerging HR technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and workforce analytics.
