Cybersecurity Engineer - II

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Cybersecurity & Compliance Engineer to lead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud security, governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and security engineering. This role will work closely with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, audit, legal, and executive leadership teams to implement secure-by-design principles and strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity and compliance posture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, GRC, or Security Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud security.
• Expertise in IAM, Zero Trust Architecture, DevSecOps, CI/CD security, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Experience managing compliance programs, security audits, risk assessments, and governance initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, and other security frameworks.
• Experience with vulnerability management, cloud security posture management, encryption, and security automation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.

$50 - $55 an hour - Full-time, Contract
