Job description

The Imagery Scientist - EO Expert provides advanced expertise in Electro-Optical (EO) imagery analysis, algorithm development, and remote sensing methodologies. This position supports operational exploitation, research initiatives, and development of innovative EO analytical capabilities across mission environments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Remote sensing?, * Minimum of six (6) years of experience as an Electro-Optical (EO) imagery subject matter expert.

  • Deep understanding of EO collection methodologies, phenomenology, image formation processes, and exploitation products.
  • Experience exploiting EO imagery to identify, characterize, and geolocate Objects of Interest (OOIs).
  • Experience developing, testing, and evaluating algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using EO imagery with tools such as Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine.
  • Ability to communicate EO capabilities, operational applications, and limitations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of remote sensing principles, imagery science, image processing, and advanced exploitation methodologies., * Experience applying computer vision (CV), artificial intelligence (AI), or machine learning (ML) techniques to EO imagery exploitation and analytics.
