Job description

As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of complex industrial control systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing our facility by leveraging advanced PLC logic, robotics, and integrated networking to ensure seamless production operations. Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy robust PLC and IPC-based hardware and software solutions to automate critical manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and refine complex logic for Allen Bradley ControlLogix and SLC platforms to maximize machine uptime and performance.
  • Lead the end-to-end engineering of capital equipment projects, from initial specification and design to final installation and commissioning.
  • Design and integrate sophisticated HMI, servo control, and data collection systems to provide actionable insights into machine performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and digital archives for all facility control systems and electrical schematics.
  • Implement and manage industrial ethernet networks to ensure high-speed, reliable communication between controllers and field devices.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems to minimize downtime and resolve complex operational challenges.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field (or 5+ years of equivalent industrial experience).

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with HMI, SCADA, and PLC control system design.
  • Proven proficiency in programming and installing Allen Bradley ControlLogix hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce precise, professional electrical system drawing packages.
  • Strong analytical skills with a self-starting mindset and the ability to execute projects independently., * Direct experience with robotic system integration, programming, and position teaching.
  • Proficiency in FactoryTalk View ME/SE software environments.
  • Experience managing complex capital installation projects within a manufacturing setting.
