Senior Software Architect

Experteer Overview As Platform Architect at TeamViewer, you will define and guide the architecture of our endpoint platform, Windows services, and cloud systems to enable secure, scalable AI-driven actions on customer devices. You will lead architectural decisions, set standards, and mentor global platform teams, shaping how we apply AI tooling and automated workflows across our digital workplace solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient systems while staying ahead of emerging technologies. This is a high-impact role that connects strategy, technology, and practice to drive transformation at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Define architecture for the endpoint platform, Windows services, and cloud systems supporting them * Design automation and AI-powered actions on customer devices with permissions, safeguards, rollback, and auditability * Establish architectural standards and guidelines for AI-generated code in production * Evaluate solutions, run proofs of concept, recommend scalable, secure designs * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineering teams globally * Drive architectural decisions and document designs, standards, and key decisions * Stay current on emerging technologies, cloud platforms, and AI tooling to improve systems and practices * Own the non-functional architecture focusing on reliability, performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency Tasks * 7+ years of software engineering experience building applications in C++ or .NET * Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Cassandra, ScyllaDB) * Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, high-availability platforms, microservices, and containers * Experience designing systems that perform automated or AI-driven actions on managed endpoints with security controls and auditing * Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and appropriate use of AI-generated code in production * Experience building and operating solutions in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure automation * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Key requirements * Competitive compensation and bonuses * Flexible PTO and paid holidays * 401(k) with employer matching * Comprehensive Health insurance package including 100% employer-paid medical coverage * Up to 12 weeks of Parental Leave * Basic Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, 100% employer-paid
