Job description

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s computer systems and networks. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are secure, efficient, and up-to-date., * Design and implement computer systems and networks, including hardware, software, and peripherals

  • Monitor and maintain network and server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and security
  • Manage and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company standards for security and data protection
  • Collaborate with IT team to identify and implement new technologies to improve system performance and user experience
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with security protocols and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
