Help Desk Support Technician

Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.

Provide technical support to local associates including PC hardware, monitors, keyboard and printers.

Provide remote technical support to remote associates.

Provide after-hours support when needed.

Setup hardware and install software, anti-virus, printers and other devices including drivers.

Maintain computer hardware and software periodically including inventory.

Assist in telecommunication setup.

Interact with IT team to restore service and/or identify and correct application problems.

Associate Degree or 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CompTIA A+, or similar certification, a plus.

Strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and networking.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365

Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

Proficiency in troubleshooting commonly used networking hardware/software.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a timely manner.
