Requirements

Farfield Systems seeks a Mid-level Linux Server Administrator to support NIWDC EW data management infrastructure at Naval Station Norfolk. You will administer, secure, and maintain Linux server environments underpinning classified Navy EW and NIODB systems. Responsibilities include system configuration, patch management, performance monitoring, security hardening, and coordination with Windows server and cloud engineering teammates. You will hold a Linux certification or obtain one within six months of assignment. Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance required as a condition of hire (on-site SCI access at government facility per DD 254 and SCI Addendum). DoD 8140 CSWF certified with CompTIA Security+ required on day one. Currently supported Linux certification (e.g., RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+) required within six months of assignment. Mid-level Linux server administration experience (System Admin Level 2). Compliance with all DoD and Navy IT regulations and cybersecurity policies required.
