Job description
As Annuity Platform Specialist, you’ll be the point person advisors turn to once an annuity case is in motion. This role is built around responsiveness: advisors and offices send in illustration requests, product questions, and case support needs across Fixed Index Annuities, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs, and you own getting them accurate answers fast - then staying on top of the follow-up until the case is done.
The role starts support-heavy. Early on, you’ll focus on running illustrations and turning around inbound requests with a same-day standard. As you build fluency, your scope grows well beyond staying on top of your own case follow-up - the trajectory here leads toward becoming a subject matter expert who trains advisors and their staff directly on annuity products, illustrations, and the Bucket Plan.
Life insurance concepts round out the role, introduced through platform education and Bucket Plan design once you’re solid on the annuity fundamentals. As your expertise and platform fluency develop, there’s a path toward evolving this role into an Insurance Platform Specialist position with broader ownership across both annuities and life insurance - a growth opportunity based on your development, not a guaranteed progression., * Respond to inbound advisor requests for FIA, Fixed Annuity, and MYGA illustrations, product information, and case support with accuracy and a same-day standard
-
Run illustrations across Fixed Index Annuities, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs, and clearly explain why a given solution - and where it sits in the Bucket Plan - fits the client situation in front of you
-
Handle the volume of day-to-day requests coming in from advisor offices, prioritizing by urgency and where a case sits in the pipeline
Follow-Up & Case Progression
-
Follow up proactively on illustrations already delivered - answering follow-on questions, addressing hesitations, and moving the case toward a decision
-
Track open illustrations and requests so nothing sits waiting on you, and nothing goes quiet without a nudge
-
Provide case design support and help advisors navigate the right internal resources, tools, and teammates to keep a case moving smoothly
-
Recognize when a case needs deeper expertise or a different specialist and hand it off cleanly
Platform & Product Knowledge
-
Build fluency across the PCA/C2P Insurance platform’s Fixed Index Annuity, Fixed Annuity, and MYGA lines so illustrations and follow-up answers are fast and accurate
-
Learn the Bucket Plan Best Interest Process and the 5 Pillars of Holistic Wealth well enough to explain where FIAs, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs each fit within the buckets, and to frame annuity conversations accordingly - bringing in life insurance concepts where relevant
Team Coordination
-
Run illustrations yourself end-to-end - requests come in directly from advisors through the Annuity Sales inbox, plus cases routed to you from the Relationship Management team
-
Keep Chair 1 on the Relationship Management team in the loop on case wins and larger cases as they move toward close
-
Share advisor feedback - questions, hesitations, and energy - that helps the broader team stay sharp
-
Contribute ideas that refine how requests and follow-up get handled across the desk
What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days
-
Hitting a same-day response standard on inbound illustration and product requests
-
Running FIA, Fixed Annuity, and MYGA illustrations independently and speaking comfortably to the numbers
-
Keeping a clean follow-up cadence - no illustration or open case sits untouched
-
Building fluency in the Bucket Plan Process and the PCA/C2P platform - a learning curve that continues through your first year - and beginning to speak to where FIAs, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs each fit
-
Knowing when to carry a case yourself, when to hand off to a teammate, and when to bring in the SME
-
Actively engaging in coaching sessions and applying what you learn between requests
Requirements
This calls for real annuity fluency from day one: 5+ years of annuity wholesaling experience and a solid working knowledge of Fixed Index Annuities, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs - plus comfort running illustrations and articulating why a given solution fits a given case. You’ll build a clear sense of where each product fits within the Bucket Plan Process over your first year on the platform; you don’t need to arrive with that mapped out. Just as important is reliable follow-through - the instinct to keep a case moving until it closes, without it falling through the cracks., * 5+ years of annuity wholesaling experience, with a solid working knowledge of Fixed Index Annuities, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs
-
Comfortable running illustrations across FIA, Fixed, and MYGA products and speaking to why a given solution works for a client’s situation - you’ll build fluency in where each fits within the Bucket Plan over your first year on the platform
-
Life insurance background is a meaningful plus
-
Active life/annuity license required; familiarity with Bucket Planning or a similar platform, including how FIAs, Fixed Annuities, and MYGAs map to it, is a strong plus
-
Comfortable on calls and Zoom, able to walk an advisor through numbers and answer questions in real time
-
Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
-
Candidates coming from a competitor or similar annuity/life insurance environment are a great fit, provided they hold an active life/annuity license
-
Reliable follow-through - you close your own open loops and don’t let a case go stale
The Mindset
-
Detail-oriented and responsive - you treat a same-day standard as a baseline, not a stretch goal
-
Coachable and hungry - you welcome feedback, act on it quickly, and see every case as a chance to improve
-
Organized enough to track multiple open illustrations and requests at once without letting any slip
-
Self-directed enough to manage your time and stay productive, whether working remotely or from one of our offices

Adaptable in a fast-paced environment, comfortable navigating shifting priorities
-
A positive, professional presence on calls and in team collaboration
