Data Manager

As a Data Manager, you will play a key role in our organization by overseeing the collection, storage, and analysis of all data related to our news group. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our data is accurate and up-to-date, and use your expertise to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision making., * Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure efficient and accurate collection, storage, and analysis of information.

• Collaborate with department heads to identify data needs and establish data capture processes.
• Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Regularly monitor and analyze data quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, data standards, and data mapping documents.
• Train and guide team members on data management processes and best practices.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
• Proactively identify data trends and patterns and provide strategic recommendations to improve business performance.
• Keep updated with latest trends in data management and make recommendations to continuously improve processes.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in data management or a similar role.

• Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Knowledge of the media industry is a plus.
