Job description
NexGen Data Systems is seeking a Configuration Manager. The Configuration Manager shall perform tasks associated with the documentation and enforcement of technical baselines in support of change management, process and evaluate change requests, and maintain configuration control artifacts to support accreditation and monitoring in accordance with the DoD Risk Management Framework.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of the baseline E2E M365 SaaS architecture and configuration in hybrid environment
- Maintain detailed documentation of tenant configuration, including archiving relevant configuration files to a centralized data repository
- Assess planned changes for risk and impact across the hybrid environment
- Perform verification and validation that approved changes are successful and achieve expected outcomes
- Evaluate requested changes to ensure compliance with higher-level polices and directives
- Monitor Message Center for future changes and releases that have the potential to impact existing baseline configuration

Requirements
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required.
- DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required.
- Azure Fundamentals Certification
- Azure Administrator Certification
- IAT Level II: CompTIA Security+, or CySA+, or SSCP
- 5+ years IT experience
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and networking
- Superior organizational skills
- Capable of managing multiple projects
- Great communication skills (oral and written)
- Familiar with tracking enterprise changes and version control of assets and configuration items (CIs)
- Experience with Enterprise IT Configuration Management tools
- Experience with hybrid IT architectures across on premise and SaaS offerings
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework
- Working knowledge of the DoD Risk Management Framework
