Job description
The Personnel Security Administrator supports the 25th Attack Group by assisting with the day-to-day administration of the organization’s Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security program. Working under the direction of the Special Security Office (SSO), this position helps maintain personnel security records, supports access management, coordinates security training, and ensures security program requirements are properly documented and maintained., The successful candidate will:
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of the organization’s SCI security program under the direction of the Special Security Office (SSO).
- Maintain a security library containing applicable security publications, directives, and reference materials.
- Assist with security indoctrinations, debriefings, transfer actions, and periodic reinvestigations as required.
- Maintain personnel security folders for SCI-indoctrinated personnel.
- Process incoming and outgoing visit requests using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Assist with annual SCI security awareness training and support unit security education programs.
- Assist government personnel with accountability, storage, inventory, disposition, destruction, and administration of classified materials.
- Support the administration of badge systems, alarm systems, SCIFs, and other restricted areas.
- Record and track security program action items and suspense dates.
- Assist with the coordination of DD Form 254 (Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification).
- Track contractor personnel assigned to the unit and maintain records supporting the unit’s industrial security program.
- Assist with validating personnel SCI access when required.
- Perform or coordinate required self-inspections of unit security programs.
- Assist with personnel security reporting requirements and corrective actions in accordance with Department of Defense guidance., We are the prime and this is the subcontractors position. We are assisting with recruiting for this role.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience supporting personnel security or security administration activities.
- Experience maintaining security records and documentation.
- Experience processing personnel security actions, including indoctrinations, debriefings, transfers, and visit requests.
- Knowledge of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Familiarity with SCI personnel security administration.
- Experience supporting security awareness training programs.
- Knowledge of SCIF administration, badge systems, alarm systems, and restricted area procedures.
- Experience tracking security program actions and maintaining required documentation.
- Familiarity with DD Form 254 and contractor security administration.
- Ability to validate personnel security access and support security compliance activities.
- Experience conducting or supporting security self-inspections.
- Ability to support personnel security reporting requirements in accordance with Department of Defense guidance.
