Job description
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email and troubleshoot the following:
- Computer Hardware
- Computer Software
- Networking equipment
- VOIP Phones
- Mobile Phones
- Networked printers
- Remote access issues
- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports each client’s mission and vision, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality guidelines and code of ethical behavior
- Engineers will be supporting and troubleshooting Apple and Windows computer systems, mobile platforms like iOS and Android, and troubleshooting the current versions of Microsoft Office and Office365 applications. (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Educates and trains customers on applications and technology.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, learning quickly, multi-tasking, self-improvement and communicating effectively with other people.
- Keep tickets up to date and clearly documented in ticket management system
- Advanced troubleshooting and analysis
- Maintain hardware including servers, workstations and phones for all entities supported
- Maintain line of business applications for all entities supported
- Process employee change event requests including new hires, terminations, and transfers
- Maintains IT asset and contract tracking system
- Manage ISP, phone and TV contracts for small offices and programs
- Oversees applications, workstations, and telecommunications equipment to ensure proper use
- Coordinates and installs new software applications on user workstations
- Basic network (wired and WIFI) maintenance including hardware
- Performs other job-related duties as requested
- Be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with current policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Support the secure installation / configuration, and remediation of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and cloud properties.
Certifications: Not Required
- Microsoft (Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSA/MCSE, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, etc.)
- CompTIA (CompTIA A+, CTP+, CDIA+, Network+, etc.)
- Cisco (CCNA, CCDA, CCNA Security)

- LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, POP3, SMTP, SNMP, ICMP, FTP, SFTP, SSH TELNET, VPN, TFTP, NAT, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IPV4, IPV6, NTP, Windows Server Active Directory, and Ethernet.
Requirements
StrikeWorks Solutions is an IT Provider in the Southern California Market. We are currently seeking hands-on Technical Support Engineers with strong customer service and time management skills. As a Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will need to provide white glove treatment for all employees up to C-Level executives. Our engineers are self-starters, document issues and resolutions in a timely manner, can effectively communicate and display professionalism over the phone and in person.
Note: This is NOT a remote only position. You must currently reside locally and have a reliable transportation.
Key requirements:
- Provide excellent Customer Service via onsite and phone-based end user support.
- Manage / escalate clients’ tickets via online monitoring dashboard: ConnectWise
- Update tickets in timely manner with detail throughout the day for each support case.
- 1-3 years experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds., * Windows 10: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft 365: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Windows Server: 1-3 year (Preferred)
- Computer hardware: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- Bilingual: English & Spanish (Preferred)
